Now I don't believe they are having a sexual relationship but I also believe they both want it and I am just in the way. After telling the b/f that I was backing off and giving him time to do or not do whatever...he just asked for his stuff back and left. And my heart is breaking...ihe has not called--nothing....my question...should I eventually call him and try to talk or just accept it for what I think it is...and try to move on with my life?

As hard as it will be... move on.

If he is picking you over his ex then it's his loss not yours. Besides for all you know he is meant to be with her and your "prince charming" is waiting all this time to be with you while you were with some other guy.

Good luck

I promise all is not lost. Guys go through that alot, and although its the easy thing for people to say "move on" and "he's bad to do that" the point is that there's something in us that needs to have a sense of freedom. The most common outcome of somethingn like this is that he'll realize tina doesn't give him a fraction of what you can. BUT he needs to feel this freedom and have this control for this little bit in order for it to work. So don't call him. After a little bit it will freak him out. The timing is tricky. But don't just move on if you really do care about him. I'm an idiot boy, and i've done this before... all it made me do was realize what i had.

Dont call him you will come off as clingy just stay in the right state of mind and stay calm ok does he have any friends your friends with? ask them whats going on and find out but dont let him know ur checking up on him...trust me act like it doesnt bother u if he loves u he will call if not then u need to move on dont stay stuck in the past other people will give u a bad rep as being clingy and not being able to let go i totally understand ur problem and u really need to find a mom or best friend who will just listen when u feel like ur going to cry and try to get over it he may just want to take sometime before he calls

My personal feeling is that this has been coming on for some time. Try to get over the guy by becoming independent for a while.Dating is a lackluster, spur of the moment thing half of the time anyways. You really don't need a man who just wants to be a boy anyways.

accept it for what it is.....DONE! im not trying to be mean but if he was really into the relationship, he would have never taken his things and left... he wanted a way out... seen it happen toooo many times. and how do u know they weren't having a sexual relationship? i think maybe you didn't want to blieve they are. and why waste your time calling a guy that obviously thinks tina is more important? forget skanky tina, and him.... and love YOU. good luck in whatever you decide.. you deserve better.

You were right to walk away from this situation. There is nothing you can do to change his feelings toward someone else. He seemed willing enought to break things off and if he hasn't called to talk...that tells you what you need to know. You have chosen to respect yourself. Good for you. I know your decision must have been very painful and the hurt will go away in time. You have enabled yourself to now have the freedom to pursue another relationship when the time is right by ending this one. Hang in there.

Sunburn, a persons actions always speak louder than there words, ok. Why do you keep letting him back into your life? Do you think that you won't find love again ? Forget this loser and move on. I am sorry about your heart, but time heals all wounds and you will be alright. Email me if ya want.

I say move on and don´t look back.
It doesn´t even matter if they are having a relationship or not,
what matters is that he isn´t doing anything like reassuring you that he is not. So if he doesn´t care that you are suffering, then he isn´t worth your suffering....there must be someone else that will eventually catch your attention......put on the old "available" sign and sit back to watch the results!

Accept it and move on...to go back to him you will end up with more of a broken heart when they actually do get together. IF you DO decide to go back tho...talk about some guy constantly and he will get the message of how you feel

Move on. Your ex was definitely at least thinking of doing something sexual with her. And all too often, those thoughts turn into action.
