I did'nt act on my jealousy or tell anyone, but sometimes just wished I could be as as they were with girls.Does this make me a bad person for getting jealous thoughts, maybe even petty?

No not petty. Actually some girls like shy guys. However, if it is bothering you tremendously, be more confident. I know easier said than done but play to your strengths. We talking to a girl bring up a subject your comfortable with. Smile and give compliments. Confidence is something you have to instill in yourself by thinking positive about yourself and not worrying if a girl will like you or not. Trust you will not get every girl but you don't want every girl either. Just the one who truely likes you for you.

Everyone gets jealous sometimes, it doesn't make you a bad person. It only does if you act on it, but as you say you don't, well then.... It's ok to feel a bit left out because you haven't got what your friends have. I've had exactly the same feeling as you many times in my life. I used to try to find guys to make myself part of the group. But I could never find one who I really liked. Probably because I tried too hard and blew it too many times. Yep, us lassies feel silly when we make screw ups like that too. Seriously though, I would be very surprised (and you should be too) if your friends stick to the girls they are with. Moral of this case, wait for love to come to you, don't look for it. By chance is always the best and most worthwhile in the end. You'll thank yourself for doing that in the end.

Shy guys are no fun. They take too much work to get to talk and other simple stuff. When they are shy it seems as if they have no intrest in the girl. It doesn't make you petty, but you need to work on your confidence if you want to feel better.

Look man, best way to build up confidence is by chatting to women who are friends of friends. Dont think of it as chatting them up, but just chatting. It's a good way to build up confidence without expectations of anything in return, but then again, who knows

no just means u need to have more confidence in urself. im sure u are a pretty cute looking guy. just need to build more confidence and dont look down on urself.
