You should try Pilates. They are a lot of fun, and they slowly build you back up over time without totally wearing you out. Also, watch how much you eat- don't skip meals or change your diet, just eat less of what you like. It's not an easy thing to do, but if you get in a routine, I know you can do it. The BEST way for that to happen is to make a friend who is in the same boat and do it with them- that way you will keep each other accountable. Good luck, and have fun!

Depending on your age and health status, first, you may want to be checked out by a doctor to get the okay nod. As for the cardio do the exercise you enjoy the most, that I imagine is dancing. Dance for as long as you can with good form. Then continue that everyday or every other day until you're dancing for 30 min. straight without taking a break. Don't need to just dance though, can use any other form of exercise. But try to work up to 30 min. with a max of 60 min. Try to be active every day for at least 30 min. Also include weight training along with a healthy eating style.

Start with your diet...it's 85% of your effort. If you can afford it get a recommended fitness trainer. If you can't afford a trainer start with some very well rated fitness videos to get you back into safe and effective habits. Remember strength, flexibility and endurance should be balanced. Lastly, you've to really want it to start during the holiday season. Good luck.

Start working out again, slowly. Work your way up to where you want to be.
Simple really, just do it!
