ok well he was in love with his ex gf and he told her he would wait for her and she told him she would wait for him, well she called him the other day and told him not to wait anymore, ever since she told him that hes been all over me with i love yous and hes saying that he wants to marry me wtf y is he doin!!???

the problem is you where a stepping stone so he could get his ex out of his mind so now he knows she is gone for sure he is ready to make you his new girl or is he. You need to watch him if this is what you want because he will not be so sweet to you and you will see weird things happening maybe you should be the stronger one and just say you where not up front with her and this hurts and you need to think about it too.

He's in fantasy land probably! You seem to have figured out what's going on....don't let him use you to get over his hurt feelings. It may be that you'll have to help him get grounded again. Need more info. Did you know about their committment before you went into this relationship? Were you ok with it? Why were they waiting? How long have you been together?
Personally, I would hate to be "second choice becomes first" when anyone's plans come crumbling down.

Do NOT trust that! It is rebound talking. Wait 6 months or so and then reappraise his emotional situation.
