I thought all Pharmacies would be the same. And the only way to get drugs cheaper was to go to Canada.

Medicare doesn't cover this one drug I take either, so I have to pay full price. I also noticed on some meds I had to pay for, the retail price was LOWER when Medicare finally covered it versus before when I had to pay for it completely. I feel CVS Screwed me for 2 yrs.

I found that CVS is more expensive all around even for the OTC stuff. And don't get me started on that CVS card thing its a JOKE!!!!... Try a local WallGreens lots more selection and more helpful in my opinion... Or even a local mom and pop pharmacy, I used one of them until they were run out by the larger places.

When you are paying for prescriptions without insurance you should call around to get the best price. Pharmacy prices can vary wildly.

You wondered why the prices aren't all the same. The answer to that is easy. Same prices = price fixing = felony offense

They do have a business to run. That's why you do research on insurance companies and find out what they cover, etc...
