When Bev and Fred were meant to get married, were you upset? I was a bit but could you just tell me your opinion?

I'm in Canada, we get Corrie way behind the current story line. We're just at the point where the guy confessed who had murdered the old lady's husband at the factory all those years ago. Just around where Tracy moved in with Charlie.
So I had heard about Fred dying on this website, and I was sad to hear it. I knew something was building between he and Bev, so I look forward to seeing the storyline move on.

I live in the US so I never heard, sorry, but it does make me sad.
