I know some people have their Bridesmaids and Groomsmen pay for their own dresses and tux rentals, that would help save you some money. Goodluck and Congrats!

There is a GOOD book by Diane Warner called, How to have a Big Wedding on a Small Budget. See if you can get it at your library.
She has a plethora of information. Her key? You MUST stay organized.
If you choose to have your wedding indoors, you can always do it at the venue in which you are having your reception. This seems to be a popular trend, and works quite well.
Be careful with an outdoor wedding. You have no control over the weather. That is the only down-side. A friend in Fla, just did a beach wedding & the wind got so bad, the wedding arch is now somewhere in the ocean. :(
As far as an officiant, type in your search engine your city, state, & wedding officiant. You should have your choice of a few. Or you can go here:

We didn't want to spend unnecessary amounts of money. One thing I did was buy a "prom" dress. They are inexpensive compared to a "wedding gown" and they look great. I had so many compliments. Also we kept the reception short. No reason guest have to stay to 1:00 am drinking all your alcohol (if it's an open bar). Our wedding started at 5 pm and was over by 10. We also didn't have any bridesmaids or ushers. A maid of hour and a best man was all. We didn't want a big event and we didn't see the need to spend money on things that would just be used once. Our wedding was small, 60 people. We spent only $3500 Cdn. and the money we received as gifts covered our 1 week honeymoon. Good Luck! Hope some of this helps.

Okay if you want an outdoor wedding think about doing it at a friends farmyard. Plant some flowers that will be in bloom for around the wedding. Rent a couple tents and set them up incase it rains. You can have everything in a back yard instead of spending tons of money on everything else. Most officiants will travel you might have to pay for travellage but it will all be worth it in the end

Outdoor weddings at a park gazebo are nice as long as the weather is good...you may want to have a nearby alternative for that event. you can be married there, on a beach, at a friend or family home (in the yard), a local botannical gardens...keep the meal light. Istead of a catered affair, so pastas, sandwiches, finger foods, etc. The person to officiate the wedding can be the local mayor if you prefer not to have a religious based wedding

First thing you need to do is decide what you want to spend the bulk of your budget on. (i.e do you want awesome pictures...awesome dress...large reception)
So if, for instance, you decide you can't live without having a top-notch photographer, do some research, find out what you need in a photographer, what you simply can NOT afford and then set aside money in your budget for that.
So once you've splurged on one or two things, go bargain hunting.
-Go to Hobby Lobby when their wedding stuff is 50% off
- use the less is more approach
- using more candles than flowers makes things cheaper
- let all of those talented family friends know you're getting married and they may very well offer to do things for you (decorating, food, hemming the dress, videographer, etc)
- it's risky but you could get a dress online for half the price...i would suggest finding the dress in a bridal shop, trying it on and then order it.
- only use flowers that are in season in July
- do simple wedding invites
- make the wedding programs yourself.

I was able to make a lot of nice things for my wedding last July. I was married in a church and would not have planned an outside wedding in July in Texas, but maybe it's cooler in MO. I made my own invitations, floral arrangements, and candles. I decorated myself (with help from friends) and borrowed some things from friends who were married around the same time or saved their own decorations. I chose simple decorations and had fresh flowers shipped from The Netherlands. I chose to have my wedding at 2pm and not serve a meal. We had a dessert buffet instead with a huge variet of desserts. This saved us money, and family and friends helped bake and make desserts. My grandma made my cake, but you could find one cheap, even made by Walmart or start taking some cake decorating classes.

nicely, what else are you searching to do? Are you desiring some flower preparations or not? outdoors of the invites and thanks playing cards, something else of the stuff isn't the large stuff that people will observe, that is those little information that purely get said as a "what a valuable contact" effect. you won't be able to construct the completed party on stuff like that. So imagine about what you're desiring to do, and how you're desiring the completed ingredient of "look". the finest thanks to maintain funds is to do it your self, and it appears like you've already were on condition that dealt with. fairly than having the marriage pot success--why not have kinfolk make the nutrients? bear in mind, you do not ought to feed those people a meal--you may have a normal cake and punch reception. you do not ought to have alcohol both. yet i might want to avert pot success for a wedding ceremony, that is quite tacky. that is high-quality for a summer season BBQ, yet not a wedding ceremony. I understand not being waiting to locate the money for a lot, and also you mustn't spend what you do not have, yet look at different thoughts fairly than having a pot success. solid success to you!

If you gonna decorate, Try doing the balloons yourself. To make great center pieces blow up (helium) 6 balloons tie together in twos. You should have 3 sets of 2. Then wrap 2 sets together then add the 3rd set. This should look like a balloon bunch. Tie some strings (ribbon) long and curl. Tie a balloon weight or even around a can of food wrap the can of food with either wrapping paper or cellophane. You can buy candle holders (Michael's has cheap ones) and put candles as your centerpiece

I had an outdoor wedding in rural Illinois and it was VERY inexpensive. We did rent chairs to make a little seating area and an "aisle." The chair rental came to about $70. Then we decorated with tulle and bows. If you want to write me at LauraMcB@comcast.net I may be able to give you some other hints. At least you're having the ceremony someplace fairly inexpensive. You should be able to have a really beautiful wedding without spending a fortune.
