Add some sanity to my insane world?

Question

I am the very jealous type, and my husband is the GM at a resturant. Do you think it is disrespectful
or meaningful that he mainly hires attractive females? The main one is always scheduled when he is working, and he makes the schedule. Am I being unreasonably jealous>?

I used to run a bar and generally ONLY hired attractive, popular females. On the w/e's they wore very sexy black 'Budweiser' dresses. It's only good business sense - men spend $$$$. People (men OR women) like attractive people. If your husband has given you no reason to doubt him - then DON'T. The easiest/quickest way to start problems is to accuse him of something he ISN'T doing...........

Besides, by your pic you're pretty dam hot.....

Hiring attractive people for resturants is common practice, depending on what type of resturant it is. Who wants to get served by an unattractive person. It keeps people (guys) coming back. So no, it's not disrespectful in anyway. If you were in the same position, would you hire attractive males?

The whole scheduling thing is a little wierd, but can you prove it's "always" when he's working. Do you know what this other girl does when she's not working? Does she have other commitments that she needs to take care of and can only work during the same time that your husband works?

Are you being unreasonably jealous, I'd say no, but you really need more information to see if your jealousy is justified. Plus, it sounds like there is a deeper issue of your husband not really doing anything to keep you from being jealous.

I think thats actually against a hiring law to just pick pretty ones lol. Granted I dun want some nasty dirty looking european scrub woman serving me, but if hes not hiring good women or men just because he doesnt think they are attractive, I dont think he should be in management. If someone is a good server , man or women and is presentable to the public they should get a fair chance in landing that job.
If hes scheduling the best looking ones to co-incide with his schedule, then there is definately something in the works and he has bad intentions.

jealous, maybe but insecure most defiantly, to find the cause look at your own history with your husband, how did you meet and become a couple. As for who he hires, he seems to go with what works for him. Have you ever thought that he not only hires attractive women, but who are very good at their jobs. You need to work on this, for your self, as well as your marriage

Nope. If everyone he hires is a very attractive female, he is surrounding himself with them for a reason. It's hard to prove that less attractive women can't do the job just as well, so his motives are clear.

Sorry.... I know you are hurting. But you did ask.

He may, or may not have actually cheated on you. If you become friendly with his staff, someone may clue you in. Also, if he is doing anything with them, sooner or later someone may slap him with a sexual harrassment lawsuit. That would bring a lot into the open.

You are jealous in the wrong way. He must hire good looking woman to make the restaurant attractive to Customers. Are you being neglected or are you just imagining things

Darling, you have to understand that the restaurant business depends on it's look as much as it's taste. What patrons see in regards to decor and the staff that works there is very important, regardless of the eye Candy your hubby is working with, just remember that you're a very attractive woman and very soothing on the eyes, and that "It's you" that he comes home to day in and day out. It's almost the same as us guys answering your questions, you're eye candy for us. I'm sure we would answer any questions your little heart desired. Good luck my dear!

you are being very unreasonable. People become regulars ar restaraunts with attractive waitresses.....there arn't many restaraunts that survive off of hireing ugly waitresses. unless you see him comming home with lipstick on his collar you have no reason to be jealous and actually to be honest just so you know. this kind of jealousy that you are displaying pushes the other person away....it's like a self fufilling prophecy... you obsess soo much over the issue and casu him so much pointless grief that the person eventually ends up leaving...not because he wants to have sex with somoene else...but because you've become a monster who is no longer desirable because of an ugly personality.

to be concerned about your husband in anyway whatsoever is perfectly normal. but if your eyes are filled with jealously that can spawn all kinds of unwanted problems. i understand what your saying and it does look alittle strange that she always works when he works but perhaps thats just a requirment of the resturaunt certain workers on certain days and times. and by the way if thats you in your picture thats posted next to your question why in the world would you be jealous of another woman your very attractive. Could it just be that when he has a more interesting woman on his shift the place may just nbe more busy and he likes to work in a place which is busy. Why not have a night out with some girlfriends and pop in to see him. You may just find that he is good at his job and a person you could be proud of. Good luck

Now does he come home right after his shifts?? If your husband is an honest man then you have really nothing to worry about. Just because the waitress is pretty does not mean anything. Everyone needs to work and maybe her resume is good and that is probably all it is
