What is inside the c.i. pipe?
What is the pressure inside?
You can puncture it using a drill .
First of all welds a nozzle -fix the gate valve -fix the special drilling machine -now drill the CI pipe as desired -pull back the drill bit and close the gate valve.
This is way people extracting oil from ONGE/IOC pipe line.
CI cant be drill with gas cutting set . YOU have use welding electrodes with high current.

How pressurised is pressurised?
What is inside the pipe? Water, petroleum or explosive gas?
Are you in Iraq, Afghanistan or Switzerland?
A terrorist or just a foolish engineer?

HELLO !!! whats the problem. any serious matter. IN any case do not puncture the pressurized pipe, irrespective of what pressure, what fluid, what temperature. do not do it. unless it is very very important. and if you have to do so, fetch some expert and get t done from him. DO NOT be careful, DO NOT ever do that.

It can be done and must be done by an expert with full knowledge of what is inside, so all the precautions are taken most such system will have vents so it must be vented first and then a hole is put in as needed for a specific purpose.

ok 2nd.. get something metal with a pointy end on it.

ok 3rd.. hammer the spikey pointy thingy into the pipe.
