It sounds like your body has lost it's "i'm full up" warning alarm and you are manually overriding it. I am sure that the brain also automatically translates the word diet as "famine" and sends you on a auto pilot mission to eat everything in sight. Great in the old days before dial - a -crap - meal was conceived but not so much now.
If you don't do so already, if you do just 1 thing get yourself in the habit of eating a healthy reasonable sized breakfast (not 3 fry ups) I used to do just as you and really that was a turning point. It kick starts your metabolism. Maybe also attempt some sort of routine - lunch at lunch time ish, dinner at dinner time- ish. You will surprisingly get used to it in a very short space of time.
Also, try to shop after you've had a meal. See what happens if you plan healthier meals in advance and take care in selecting the ingredients that you are going to use, and allow yourself treats sometimes. Remember there are some things in crap food that we need you just need to eat more of it to get all the good stuff.
By doing this you will be less tempted to grab something quick and easy. It takes some getting used to - like anything, but a little determination, you can do it!!!
PS - also maybe have an alternative activity that you enjoy - ie recognise that you're tempted to have that 10th Mars Bar and tell yourself - no I'm gonna go and do X instead. Whatever it is it will be burning calories not consuming them so the world is your oyster!

I do this too sometimes, don't feel bad. It might be Binge Eating Disorder, I used 2 have that, but now I only suffer from it very rarely.
Try thinking of how much you are going to regret your actions before you begin eating everything in the house. Try to reconjure all those memories of the self hatred you felt after you acted like a pig. Be hard on yourself.
The sense of control is a much better feeling than the taste of anything, I can assure you.
Crap foods are ok in moderation, but if you have trouble w/ portioning them, put some in a small cup like I do and just eat that amount... you will be satisfied later.
Try and wait @ least 10 minutes before you go and get another helping, you'll soon find it's only boredom that drives you to want more.

Hi there !
I think..a little bit of "effort" and "will power" can solve the problem, sir !
Try this :
1. Frequent small feeds , so that the hunger does NOT reach the peak of the graph !
2. Try to drink more water..especially when you are about to start eating ! This will lower the capacity for solid food ! dont you agree ?
3. Take more of vegetables..it will not "add on" to the calories..but reduce the intake of "high calorie food items"..agree ?
If there is a will, there is a way !
Best wishes...
simple and feasible too !

I used to be exactly the same. I was a chocolate pig! in the end what i done was shopped on the internet for food. It stops you from wandering around the supermarket picking up junk and it takes so long that you cant be bothered to search for lots of things! i ended up eating a lot of rice and chicken and everytime i got hungry i went to the kitchen realised i had no chocolate so got an apple out the fridge.
Eating little and often might also help so it keeps your blood suger stable.

Dont have crap in your house, or if other people live with you who do eat crap, have your own cupboard just with healthy snacks for you to nibble on.Really, only you can tell yourself your not gonna binge on rubbish, you cant expect people to have a miracle answer. You must know really that only you can help yourself.

replace crap with healthy food. Drink more water, it makes your belly feel full and you are less likely to snack.

Realize that the stomach volume has stretched and that it will take
Effort-Effort-Effort-Effort-Effort-Effort-Effort-Effort-Effort-
Willpower-Willpower-Willpower-Willpower-Willpower-Willpower-
To gradually reduce serving size over time and drink plenty of water to aid this process.
Your stomach WILL shrink. You will be thrilled by the wonderful changes.
Good luck !
