I am going to stay away from him. I just dont want to tell my boss something personal unless I need to. I was late this morning, and I'm on thin ice.

I am going to just stay at work. It's not like going home an d sleeping is going to make anything better. It's crazy how one thing can make you feel worthless.

Why should you care what will happen to your ex you are the one with the bruises and he had no right to hit you. File the charges and move on. If you lose your job make a fresh start someplace else. If your boss can clearly see the bruises he knows somethings up. Don't hide make the move and find a support group within your circle of friends to get you through this. You are going to need them. And if they do not understand call your abused womens hotline. Remember YOU ARE A STRONG WOMEN.

If it were me.. I wouldn't tell my boss... but I would go home. Tell him you don't feel well. you need time to re-group. I think you should seriously consider filing a police report and make sure that you have made it clear to this ex of your that you WILL take legal action if he touchs you. It's called ASSAULT and it's against the law. Have pride in yourself.. pick up that phone, and call the police. you will probably not only be saving yourself, but other girls who might be victims as well. Believe in yourself that you are too good to be assaulted and don't ever let him near you- or anyone you care about again. NO EXCEPTIONS

Tell your boss what happend so he/she can call the police so that they can go and arrest your boyfriend for being a wimp and beating on women, or you can let it go and find some huge friends to go to his house and teach him how to treat women. But let the law take care of it like it should be taken care of

You are not even asking the right question. I hope you have enough sense to end this relationship. A man should treat his wife or girlfriend the same way he would want his own daughter treated. When you get into a relationship where you are mistreated, it diminishes your self-esteem and makes you think you cant' do any better. Don't take your boyfriend back. You deserve better

You need to tell your boss and then go straight to the police to report it. No one has the right to do that to you even if you feel like you "love" him. IT IS NOT OK!!! Get help. Good Luck!

Ive been through the same thing, most of my relationships have been abusive. I say tell your boss and call the cops on him for hitting you and doing that. NO girl deserves to be treated like that

Throw his a** out. As for today at work, just say you don't feel well if you don't want to spell out the whole thing and go home. Pack his crap and change the lock.

DO NOT tell your boss the truth. Tell them you need to go home for personal reasons & then call the cops.

I think you should tell your boss what happened and then get yourself to your local Women's crisis center for some free counseling on physical abuse and learn about the "battered women's syndrome". You will need to get out of this relationship, since it will only get worse. Good luck!

You say he's your EX boyfriend? A stupid question for you- Why did he have the chance to abuse you? If it's over, it's over! Don't play any games that might "push his buttons"! I have plenty of ex-girlfriends and can't imagine being close enough to any of them to get in a physical confrontation. Stay away from him and eventually, he will stay away from you!
