Ive been looking all over the internet and can't find anyting thats not made in a bread machine, or isnt white. I'm looking for old fashioned, traditional bread loaves. Also, any tips on making it would be appreciated

I use the recipe on the flour bag of King Arthur Whole Wheat Flour. It turns out great every time. Make sure that the water is the right temperature before mixing it with the yeast... and use non-chlorinated water.

You can use any white bread recipe. All you do is replace one-third to one half of the white flour with whole wheat flour. You can also replace it with oatmeal or ground nuts to make various interesting breads.

Good additions to home made breads include replacing sugar with honey, in oatmeal or whole wheat bread that is especially good, or adding an egg to the bread. The main thing to remember is to keep working in flour until the dough is no longer sticky.
