I want to lose as much weight as I can before my next birthday which is Jan 1st. I currently weigh 165 and I'm 5ft8in. How much do you think I can lose between now and then if I do taebo 30 min twice a day? After I do taebo my hair is ringing wet and I am dripping with sweat and then I do a few sit ups and crunchies. And maybe go for a walk. I am also eating healthy. How much is it possible to lose. Thats about 7 weeks. And what else can I add to this. i already drink just water and lots of it.

Is it at all possible to lose more than 20-30 lbs?

Be careful not to over work your body by exercising! You could lose maybe 7-10 lbs that would stay off if you go slowly, or maybe 20-25 lbs that would probably come back if you fall off your exercise and diet regime.

Oh my! You are very ambitious! This is a very difficult time of year to be losing weight. But - I'm sure you can do it if you are determined.

So - the way you lose weight is to eat less calories than what you are burning. If your cardio/exercise workout burns 600 - 700 calories per day (which I believe is about right for what you described) and you are eathing a healthy 1500 calories a day (about right for your height and weight) you could lose about 2.5 pounds per week. My guess is that you'll still be hungry though - if you are doing all of that cardio. So drinking lots of water will help. If you haven't been dieting prior - the weight will come off a little faster at first. It's really not safe or healthy to lose more than two and a half pounds a week. At this rate my guess is that you'll lose about 17.5 pounds by your New Year's Birthday.

If you want to lose more than 20 or 30 pounds - and you don't care about how safe it is - you can just fast - drinking water only - but it's likely that you won't have a lot of energy to exercise.

If you're going to fast - may I suggest the Master Cleanser. It IS caloric - with you drinking a mixture of Lemon Juice, Grade B Maple syrup, water and cayenne pepper. I do it every spring - for 8-10 days - and usually lose about 10 pounds. Mostly I do it for cleansing purposes - and my weight has usually all come back over time. I have friends who have done it for 30 days and lost 30 pounds - and kept it off. I think if you MUST lose weight fast - it's probably not the safest way to do it - but possibly the safest un-safe way to do it. If that makes sense.

You can check out these sights - but there are many more as well:

Well I lost 30 lbs in 7 weeks. I did a combination of walking early Every morning before breakfast, vitamin supplements, and Taebo twice a day ( after break fast, right before bed) and I also did aerobic exercises 4 times a week. I did a low carb ( not no-carb, that's stupid) diet and drank a gallon of water daily. I drank a glass of water with half a squeezed lemon before Every meal ( this should be inclusive of the galln of water per day). It helped me to feel full quicker, and lemon is a good internal cleanser. I also made sure to keep my bowels moving regularly, so I drank a tea called Trim Max it has natural senna which acts like a laxative. You can get this tea at places like The Vitamin Shoppe of health food places. Similar teas would be the Dieter's Tea; it has the same ingredients. Or you can even get the actual Senna tea from a healthfood store. I get it from the Asian fruit an vegetable shops. I did however take 2 rest days, never back to back, but on those days I continued my walks. Never over work the body. Allow it at least one day of rest that is why I didn't do the Taebo or the aerobic everyday. Before I knew it I lost 30lbs. I'm your same height by the way. Go for it and good luck!

If you're asking how much weight you will lose from exercise, the answer is 5 pounds max, probably less.

You can be eating "healthy" but still be taking in too many calories. Review your food choices, especially on weekends.

If you want to do it the right way, healthy way, and long term way - 20-30lbs is overdoing it. Keep in mind you are also gaining muscle doing a lot of those moves
