I've got quite big love handles. Is there a particular exercise to get rid of them?

There is no specific exercise.

The best exercise is one you will KEEP DOING. 1 year of walking around the block works; 2 weeks of step class does not. Try new things; find what you like. And then do it 3+ times a week!

Sorry Mark but only diet and aerobic activity will help you. There is NO SUCH THING as spot reducing.

1st. reduce fat instake
drink plenty of water
kick boxing are great workout, belly dancing
side crunches
