Yes honey, you could be pregnant. Sometimes pregnancy tests give a false negative......do the test again in a couple of weeks.

I think it's a 50/50 chance. My little girl is 6months old and my periods are still all over the place so Ive had a few scares myself. I think it does take approx 6 weeks for your body to get back into the ovulating pattern but everyone is different. My instinct would to say your probably not and due to emotions/stress and shock of your baby your body is still all over the place but without wanting to worry you there could always be a small chance that you have got caught.
If your not, the symptoms are probably all phsycolological as I was sure the other month that I was pregnant as I felt I had morning sickness but it was just a scare.
Id do a test to set your mind at rest. 'First Response' tests apparently can tell after just 3 days of fertilisation and they are £6.99 in Superdrug/Boots/Tesco etc.
Just dont worry, you'd certainly not be the first woman ever to get caught so early after having a baby and youd definately not be the last....plus on a positive note, all the things you have now can be saved to use again so a baby second time around wouldnt cost as much.
Look Im sure it is just your body and mind playing tricks on you but its definately worth biting the bullet and buying a test to set your mind at rest.
Good luck and I hope your new baby is thriving, its soooo exciting been a new mum....knackering too tho....lol.

xxxx

It is unlikely that you are pregnant but not impossible. The average woman ovulates 22 days after delivery if she is not breastfeeding. Your first period following birth is very unlikely to occur 28 days later, it usually happens 5 to 6 weeks after your baby is born, however, it can be even later than that, and if you are breastfeeding you may not have a period until you give up. As already suggested it would be wise to repeat the test in a week or two, also, if you do not want another pregnancy so soon get yourself sorted with some reliable contraception, you can start taking the contraceptive pill 21 days after giving birth.

It could be possible but as you have just had a baby it is very difficult to say for definate as your body is all over the place and still recovering. Take a test in a few days and see what it says.

Talk to your doctor at your six week check up.
