My friend apparently gets 5 needles a month to cure some sort of disease he has. He will not tell me what it is because he says he doesn;t want me to worry, but he says it's not going to kill him or anything, I only know of it because i asked what the bandage on his arm was and he replyed with saying it was because his needles went wrong. what could this be?

Really too little information here to guess. He could be having blood tests or he could be getting intravenous injections for any number of reasons.
