but was actively seeking out this knowledge so that I can be unbreakable in my faith, will I go to Hell?

You won't find the answer to that question here. I too have doubts about Jesus. Some of the stories in the bible are pretty hard to believe, unless it's blind faith. Paul Bunyon and Santa are equally believable.
Remember, God didn't write the bible. Nor did he sit for in interview with a writer. The bible was written by men, quite likely several generations after the time of Jesus. Stories were probably embellished as they passed from person to person. Then another man gathered the stories together, edited out what he saw fit to print and assembled the first bible several hundred years after the time of Jesus. Because of this I think God will forgive you if you don't believe everything you read in the bible or about Jesus.
I believe that God is in all of us and knows what is in our hearts. What awaits us after death is based on what kind of person we are in life. It is surely more important than whether or not we believe a bunch of 2000 year old stories. I believe this to be true and I live by it but I suppose that does not make it nessessarily true.
Live with peace and love in your heart. God Knows.

Honestly Jesus will judge everyone a little differently when they die and hopefully you won't end up there. Yes Jesus is the only way but understand that he is Love itself and if you live a life of love for him and love others just as you love yourself then you will be honoring and worshipping him in your life and in everything you do. All the 10 commandments and every other rule falls under those 2 things 1)Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and 2) Love your neighbor as you love yourself.

Jesus is perfectly fair in his judging and he will take into account your entire life when deciding where you will end up. And also he loves you more than you can fathom and that 's why he died so you won't have to go to hell.

If you have lived your life holding the Faith, then when you enter the Valley of the Shadow of Death just let your Faith hold you.

There is no necessity of "seeking out this knowledge"; He clearly told us: (Jesus said) "I am the way, the truth, and the life" and "no one comes to the Father but by me". So, obviously, He is the only way to the Father. Where is the Father? Heaven. Therefore He is the only way to Heaven.

Heaven and hell, why are those the only choices. Who appoints humans as the masters of where you go? God know the heart, but their are definitely standards for those who go to heaven. Most who think they are going don't even know these standards, one of which is to be compassionate, and are not even aware of the purpose for which God chooses some to go and are not aware that in the future Paradise Earth will be the ome of countless of millions. What you need to do is to continue your search for knowledge. You will find it and more.

It is not the size or amount of faith that you have that is essential. It is WHERE your faith is placed. To be saved, you must trust Jesus and Him ALONE. To have a "plan B" or to trust Jesus in addition to something/someone else, is to be lost.

Consider Galatians 5:2, "Behold I, Paul, say to you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you." Paul was not against circumcision (he circumsized Timothy in Acts 16:3). What he was warning against was trusting Jesus PLUS trusting one's own good works. Such an error is damnable. One must trust Jesus ALONE.

If you have truly accepted Christ and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, confessing with your mouth - you will have no doubts. You will have the Holy Spirit and you are sealed. You have Eternal Life. If you are not really saved - do not have the Holy Spirit - you will go to Hell. Pretty clear.

the Only way to get to Heaven is to accept Jesus as saviour and repent of our sins, believe He is the risen Son of the only God. It is a heart thing not a head thing, so knowledge doesnt get you very far, it isnt the same thing as faith.
