Homeostasis is the ability to maintain a stable environment. This is controlled by sequestering excess compounds, restricting influx and exporting components.

Mitochondria produce ATP and do not directly function in transport of anything.

Centrioles are microtubule arrangements that are important in mitosis.

Cytoplasm goes everywhere and is the overall cell environment.

Endoplasmic reticulum goes throughout the cell and functions in the production and export of proteins, sequesters calcium, etc.
