i just got a new computer hp. and my scanner doesnt work with it. i have download the software from the cd that comes with the scanner but nothing. The computer cant even find it. i have turned it off and on. i have done anything

Check the scanners manufacturer's web site for a new software download that maybe compatible with your new computer.

this is what U wanna do opne your comp. control panel (should be in start menu) den click printers and otha hardwear on the left hand side u will see two seperate menues one (see also) the otha (trouble shooting) under the menu dat says see olso click on systems dat will open up system properities it has 7 tabs click on da one dat says hardwear after dat u will see a button dat says device manager click on it and device manager will open find your scaner the right click it should ask if u want to scan for hardwear change do so den u have to select the approiate updated version of your scaner softweare den run dat softwere
