Sat I went in bed 13 and took off my ring to put on lotion. I didn't realize until after closing that I left it. Today is the 13th (and our 14 month anniversary) and I'm going to get the ring back. I called, they have it. We have this wierd thing between us about 13. It's our lucky number (except Sat b/c I left the ring). But isn't that wierd that I'm getting it back on the 13th?! Should I tell him, now that I'm getting it back today or not? My 13 yr old daughter thinks I shouldn't because he will give me a hard time but now that I know I'm getting it back I think it's a little funny.

I took the ring off because lotion gets into the line of diamonds and the lotion has a brown tint to it. Also I don't have it sized yet so I have to wear it on my first finger - don't want a tan line there.

Most tanning establishments have a sign that says jewelry should NOT be worn in the tanning beds for several reasons, that is why there is always some place to put rings when you take them off. And as far as leaving it behind, of course that happens. You are very, VERY lucky, however, that it was still there.. From now on try leaving your ring at home where it will be safe when you go tanning.

Sounds like you should tell him since it sounds like you wanted to not have tan lines on your ring finger for some reason. Maybe that reason is because you aren't ready for the commitment the tan line would indicate while you are out with your girlfriends at the bar.

He might get mad.
If you are engaged to him I think that you would know if he would find something like this amusing or not. And if you don't know whether he would find this funny or not then you should maybe put off the wedding date until you get to know him a bit better.
