There is the aspect of medicine called patient responsibility.
Read the PATIENT INFORMATION packet that comes on the box.
It says in the very first line of the Description: "Fluticasone propionate, the active component of FLONASE Nasal Spray, is a synthetic corticosteroid..."
It doesn't have steroid in it, IT IS steroid. It reduces the effects of nasal allergies by using the steroid to reduce inflammation in the nasal cavities.
Why wouldn't a doctor tell you this? It seems you are just mad for some reason.
FYI, depression and irritability are symptoms of withdrawal, not of use.

ahhh.......flonase doesn't HAVE steroids......flonase IS a steroid. i'm sure someone somewhere along the way must have mentioned that to you. anyway it's not an anabolic steroid or anything that would cause you depression or any other henious side effect you may have imagined yourself having. it's inhaled and does not cause systemic side effects. you may be having some medical issue but unlikely the flonase is the culprit. you may want to go back and talk with your doctor.

yes flonase has a steroid in it. it helps shrink the nasal passages so people can breathe easier.
usually not a problem unless taking too much or also on other steorids as well.
last i checked, most people feel better with steroids, not worse (that is, until they are taking too high a dose)

Yes, I know that flonase has steriods. I know that from when I was prescribed it. It's too bad yours didn't explain that to you.
I have an allergy to the mint plant. Weird, but true.

flonase is by definition an inhaled steroid, yes. No one has tried to hide this from me, I hope they didnt from you. Helped my perennial allergy problem immensely.
