Is this a brilliant overview of the cost of illegals in America?
Instead of calling it illegal immigration, we should be calling it a foreign invasion, because the consequences of this invasion are as terminal to our freedoms and to our way of life as any act of terrorism ever perpetrated against us!the financial cost of this foreign invasion to U.S. taxpayers is staggering! Here is a break down of the annual costs:
Education: $22.5 billion
Bi-lingual Education: $3.3 billion
AFDC: $2.4 billion
SSI: $2.9 billion
Social Security: $24.8 billion
Housing Assistance: $2.6 billion
Criminal Justice: $2.6 billion
Jobs Lost by Americans: $10.8 billion
Other Programs: $51.4 billion
Food Stamps: $7 billion
Health Care: $1.4 billion

That's a fair break down. The Great American melting pot has become the The Great American melt down.

BOILING POT!

Do you have a figure for the amount of income, real estate, and sales taxes that illegal immigrants pay annually to the US government? Most estimate the income tax number to be somewhere in the $10 billion range. Real estate taxes and sales tax are obviously harder to measure, but the numbers are obviously significant for 10-12 million people.

I'd like to hear how these people are attacking your freedoms and way of life. Make a list. As far as I'm concerned, if somebody risks their life to walk 2500 miles across a desert with $7 to his name so that he can better support his family, I want that guy working for me, not some scrub that can't show up for work regularly and complains that their job is below them.

Wow, that is definitely breaking it down. There should be some type of law that requires immigrants to provide a green card and proof of citizenship to be allowed to use these things that were meant for U.S. citizens. If they were to make laws that dealt with this, then I wouldn't see a problem with illegals being here, if they still wanted to be here after not being able to take advantage of these things any more.

Yeah, and people say it'll cost too much to deport them. I think America would save a bundle by investing in security measures for the border and deporting the illegals who are here and living off the system.

If illegal "Aliens" don't have to pay taxes and Social Security in their own names why should the rest of us Legal Citizens? Why should we give away so much to people who give so little? Will the illegal "Alien" population want to stay if they have to do things the legal way? So my answer is yes.
