i think your windows has a broken file, cos the path that you have given here c:\windows\jhcextoutput.dll, means the file jhcextoutput.dll in the C: drive and "windows" folder cannot be loaded. I suggest your repair the operatiing system using the windows operating cd and choose the option to repair the installation.

Hi LittleMom, well, first off I wish you would have included a bit more information to go along with this error. Such as what you were doing when it came up. The steps you had performed during whatever you were doing was done.
With that said, I will guess you were attempting to install a software program. I may be wrong and If I am sorry, but this with only the information you gave, this is my best guess. Ok, often during software instalation a module or supportiing file can become corrupt. In these situations try removing the offending software, or if you can remove it, then reboot and attempt the installation again.
If the instalation still fails then you will need to contact the manufacturer or take back the CD or DVD the software came on and exchange it and then try again. If you choose to go to the manufacturer, go to the website and then to customer support. Depending on how large the company is you may have an option for a live chat session to help you fix your problem. Just go and look at the site ad see how much support is available for the software product. If there is little to none, then this may be software you don't want to install on your system. At any time files can become corrupt, and software manufacturers know this, and are usually prepared to assist customers in fixing the problem. Each software program on a CD or DVD or from a direct download from the site, is referred to as an "instance" of the program. Each instance can have its own troubles and problems, so exchanging your copy out with a new instance very well may fix your troubles.
Now, sometimes a hardware componant needs a driver, or a peice of software which "talks" with the OS, which allows the hardware and the OS to communicate back and forth. Sometimes if a driver is bad, or if it needs updating problems can occur. So, if this is a program which you have had for a while it could be a driver problem, a firmware problem, or a file corruption problem. Contacting the manufacturer is the best way to go in any of these cases once a removal and re-installation fails.
Good luck and have a great day!
Ok, great LittleMom, you need to go into your event viewer riight after you log on and check the error reports and investigate what this means. The Event Viewer can be accessed via the Start-All Programs-Administrative Tools-Event Viewer. Once you are in Event Viewer you will want to click on System to open the System Error Log. This will be on the left side, and the errors will then be listed in the right side pane. Double click or right click and select Properties to open the error which corresponds to the logon. A window with various information will be opened. At the top of the error report incident window will be general information on time of event, error code, and what computer system is affected. In the middle is the Desription area and this will give a bit of information, and a link to the Help Files. At the bottom is hexidecimal error code information which you will not be able to decifer, but Microsoft will be able to do so, or a Help Desk, like your manufacturers Support site. In Desription area follow the link and write down what is written there too. This may help you isolate and fix the problem on your own. It may be a program has become corrupt and needs repair. Often you can repair software programs via the Add/Remove applet (program) in Control Panel. Click on Repair instead of Remove, or if it is combined click on the one button and then choose Repair from the list of options. Also, in Add/Remove there is a link when you highlight the software program you think is causing the problem and you can click on that and it will provide you a way to contact the manufacturer directly.
Good luck and I hope you get your malfunctioning system or software program working right agian really soon. It is so annoying to have our systems and software go bad on us, but this is a normal aspect of any computer. LIke anything it gets used and after a time it needs some maintainance work or repairs. Have a good day LittleMom.

i would suggest getting a anti-virus debugging tool to find and, hopefully, fix errors.
