I'm not sure ours has push bars. I need to know how to keep his fingers out of the spigots! Could you just tape a sheet of paper over it if he goes to move the paper you can tell him No. That way you're not trying to make him not do something he used to be able to do. That's right about the age they can begin the concepts of off limits if you're patient and consistent. Good luck
