Yes. Save only the most important and dear memories, and make room for some new ones. Pare it down to one large box - if it can't all fit in there, you will have to decide what items are most important to you. You can't take it with you when you die, so don't hold on to it now. Invest that space/time/energy into people.
Good luck!!! :O)

You suggested a *lot* that stuck out first in my concepts because of the severe value of lead in the present day. you'd be throwing away a *lot* of money as in possibly some hundred funds or extra. No shaggy dog tale only call any metallic recycling agency on your section and get the present value of unpolluted lead it is going to marvel you. very last I checked right here it replaced into going for over $a million.30 a pound. So if that ammo has over one hundred lbs of lead in it thats over $one hundred thirty.00. also lead fowl shot is going for round $40 5 for a 10 lb bag. Then in case you upload the cost of brass casings and think ofyou've got some dough there. positioned an ad up and promote all of it to a reloder, only clarify you dont have self assurance the 1000's. He can keep procuring it from you and take them aside. and also you've some money. in case you don’t want to debris with it call the police/hearth branch and they'll put off it for loose.

If you are ready to let go then by all means throw it away. Maybe go through and pick a couple of items that have the most memories to keep. But stuff that is broke and old gym clothes could probably go.

If you come across old toys that are still in decent shape, you might want to put them on E-bay. A guy a few towns over bought an amber vase for $3, at a yard sale. To his surprise it turned out to be an old one and he got $143,000 on Ebay. This story was confirmed in a Country Living magazine story.

See if there are a few really special things, which have particular memories or which can represent many others with similar associations, maybe keep those, but get shot of the rest. If you select carefully you can keep your memories alive without filling up your house!

Donate them to your local habitat for humanity or salvation army. Dont throw them away unless they are really not useable. Some toys and things can be fixed - and its the holiday time, and some people might be looking for vintage things to fix up, so donate it rather than throw it away to add more to the landfills...

During a period of my life when I lived with very few possessions, I felt freer as a result. If your old things might be useful to someone else, give them to goodwill or another similar organization. Otherwise, if you are ready to let go and you don't think you'll need them for anything anymore, send them away to the garbage. I don't think you'll regret it.

Well, you'll still have the memories.
Do you love them? Do they bring joy to your life on a daily basis? If so, then maybe keep them for a while.
If not, and if you'd be okay if they weren't there, then toss them.
