I cannot decide between a small cheaper model, or the kitchenaid750 or 760. I am frugal and don't want to waste$40 only to find I need to spend $200. However, I don't want to spend a lot to find that I have less counter space with a processor that is inferior. Primary reasons for purchasing processor are as follows; Chopping nuts, making hummus, chopping vegetables such as bell peppers, onions, celery, zuchini, broccolli, cabbage, and lettuce. I also make a lot of homeade vinegar and oil dressings.
Any help with your opinion would be appreciated.

I have a kitchen aid mixer 750 and I love it. They last forever. Well worth the money.
Before my kitchen aid mixer I had a little cheapie one and it didnt last but a few months, money down the drain.

If you want a mixer that will stand through everything that you put it through then kitchen aid is the one/the way to go. You will Not be disappointed!

I have had three Cuisinart food processors, and have loved each one. The first one dates back to when they first came on the market for residential use, the second for my up north home, and the third for my down south home. They never wear out, and they never break down. If you need to add things Cuisinart is wonderful to order from. I wouldn't think of using anything else, and I can't say that about many products now a days!!

I have a KitchenAid Ultra Power. I love it. I don't think I could live without it anymore, there's so much to make with it. It came with the minibowl and small blades, and a whole slew of other blades for the main container. That was 6 years ago and cost me around $350. Well worth every penny and it's still going strong!

I prefer kitchen aid appliances myself. They have a good reputation, and are currently on sale right now in a wide variety of color choices at jc penney. If you are doing as much cooking as I think you are, I would go for the top of the line kitchen aid.

Kitchen Aid or Cusinart

Get the biggest capacity you can find. Be sure it comes w/ varying plates for grating, slicing, shredding, etc.

I have a KA and love it.
