I have had this best friend for five years and he moved away to Texas. This past weekend I went to visit him and i had a little to much to drink and we got intimate. One my way back home I could not stop thinking about him, I now have feelings for him like I have never felt before. He is about to go off to the NAVY and this is just not a good time in his life. I told him how I felt and he said he felt the same way but it is not a good time. If I would have only been one week earlier. He also told me he has had a crush on me since like the 11th grade and now we have been out of school for 3 years. He is scared if we get together he will not want to join the NAVY anymore but I would never let him give up that dream!! Every minute I am awake I am thinking about him. What should I do??

just keep supporting him and his decisions cuz he now knows how you feel about him and you know how he feels about you so just look forward to when he gets to come home on visits.. if meant to be all will work out.. just keep supporting him and he is going to be thinking about you while he is away and when he gets home for a visit you should be ooooo sooo prepared!! good luck

You and your friend have had a good relationship for 5 long years. If the two of you are meant to be a couple; well you have already waited 5 years wouldn't it be worth the wait? Even if he does go to the Navy you all can email; write and call one another. My advice to you is to go slowly, do not rush, it would be a grave mistake to move to quickly and end up costing a great friendship. If this is something that you and your friend really want to pursue, give it time, support his dream of going to into the Navy. I am sure he will have time when he can take leave and visit with you make the most of time that you can enjoy one another.

IF you were ment to be together the 2 of you will find a way to be together. You might get lucky and he might be stationed in San Diego in which you can visit and make things hopefully work. Have a long chat with him and try and find a way to make it work. I seems like you 2 were meant for one another

Many people in the military are in love, it works. My husband was in the Air Force when we met and moved to OK while I lived in IL. Communication kept us alive we are now married 26 years. Tell him you support his decision and will wait for him. See him on leave and let things happen that will. Remember if meant to be it will happen if your honest and open. Good luck

To thine own heart be true. Tell him how you feel and then let him decide how he wants to proceed. He is responsible for making his own choice concerning the Navy, if he doesn't go, then you may have the would be sea man all to yourself, and thats not a bad thing.

I THINK THAT YOU ALL NEED TO TALK AND YOU NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHATS MORE INPORTANT. THE NAVY OR RELATIONSHIP.
