Hair Color: Anyone heard of colors Cherry & Purple?

My friend knows a couple good hair colors we know people that could use. Unfortunately they can't remember things perfectly and it looks like the colors have changed.

They think the red was Clairol Essence Herbal Color Cherry but it might have been some other brand.

We both know there are a couple purples out there, but he can not remember the brands and I don't know things well. Plus the stores in the area I live are not great, they are limited and one has these Hair Color products that if you read are past their experation date (which is part of why they wash out probably).

We will be trying to shop in a better neighborhood >.>

These were colors in boxes that came with all the supplies,.. not just pigments you had to buy the activiator and stuff sepereately and mix to use as hair color.

There is a current Cherry or two that were not the correct color I ran across, so if you can find pictures,.. that will be helpful.

To Clarify: I am looking for the name and brand of two Hair Colors that we forget and that are avilable at some drug stores, grocery, super market,... etc. Not the kind that require you to buy activator seperate.

Color 1: Cherry. So far it looks like it was Clairol Essence Herbal Color #49 Beyond Cherry. It does not appear to be available any more. Does anyone know details?

Color 2: Purple. Brand name is forgotten. I think this may have been called Black Purple or described as such.

OK, Red, for me has been the easiest to get in, and yeah it fades, however it takes alot to actualy remove,
I do agree with loriel being the best, especialy feria.

Chocolate cherry is teh red shade I used most, kind of burgendy.
I've seen another with garnet in the name that is darker.
