I will be traveling Thanksgiving weekend with 2 small children, if I am able, I'd like to ship my suitcase. I was told that I would have to put my clothing in a box, not a suitcase. What are my options?

I'd hesitate to pack clothes in a box and ship it as boxes of clothes are soft at will tend to get crushed and possible break open from other boxes stacked on top. This can't be avoided.

Your other options are companies who actually ship luggage: You might want to check out :

www.luggagefree.com
www.luggageconcierge.com

Both companies specialize in this type of service and I have used them regularly for my clients.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ship the kids in the box. The trip will be more quiet.

LOL! Nah, just kidding.

Shipping is by weight, and you suitcase will add a lot of extra weight. I would ship your clothes in a duffel bag in the box instead of a suitcase in the box.
