Wow a bunch of strange answers.
Ground coffee is good for 2 to 3 days before the flavor starts to go if kept in an air tight container. Coffee beans are good for two to three weeks from the roast date if kept in an air tight container.
I have had some beans that were ok after 2 months in a freezer but any longer they lost their flavor. If your talking about store purchased coffee either ground or beans it probably doesnt make much differance as those beans are usually stale by the time they get on the shelf even in their vaccume sealed containers. For a real good coffee find a roaster on line or local to you where you can get the beans that are fresh roasted.

as long as you keep them air-tight, they will last for a few months, if not longer. I have had some coffee in my freezer for almost 1 year, and it's still good, although there has been some deterioration in flavor, it is not bland, and did not pick up odors from other foods in the freezer.
I've been told that you shouldn't store coffee in the freezer, but oh well, what's done is done. Both Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts sell air-tight coffee containers, as do most kitchen supply stores, such as Williams Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, etc.

Jamaican Blue? exciting. right this is my information: whether it is a 12 months previous - even below the ultimate situations - throw it away! while it is composed of coffee - fit for human intake does not unavoidably recommend stable adequate! If sealed, complete beans could be left in 'room temperature' for some days, I reckon. If refrigerated, they're going to stay long adequate 'till at last you employ them up. One kilogram ought to final you a month or 2 If floor up, coffee tastes/ smells ultimate for 2 days. in case you grind, grind adequate for 2 days, then relax it! you could tell whether coffee beans are nevertheless 'tasty' or no longer. they ought to have a 'roasted' aroma. no longer something bitter or flat. i wish this enables.

Typically about 12 months according to one web site I found. Another said 2 years unopened, one month once it's opened, so it varies. I'd say to follow the expiration date stamped on the package.
