This is normal and happened to me, it's kind of like a stitch feeling. It is just because the baby is getting bigger and it is a strain on your muscles. Just take it easy and slow down and if it gets really bad see your Dr about it.

This could be either of two things. The first is called SPD, and it's here the bones in the pelvis seperate a little quicker than they should. I had this during the later stages of my pregnancy and it was awful. This generally shows itself as more of a pain in your hips and pubic bone. If the pain is just at the bottom of your belly, then it's more than likely just your muscles and ligaments stretching to accommodate your growing bump.
If you think it might be SPD speak to your midwife and she can refer you to the physiotherapist. He/She will probably give you a support belt to wear. It really helped me !
If it's just muscular pain, try buying yourself a couple of pairs of maternity support knickers. They're the least glamorous things in the world, but again they do help.
Good luck with everything.

I got exactly the same with my little girl but I was huge. If the pain gets too bad go and check it out at your docs. I got quite a few stretch marks there. Hope that doesn't happen to you. It may just be the position that the baby is in.
Good luck

hi my daughteris now 9 months, and it sounds to me like you have what i had, i had such awful pain when walking at the bottom of my belly, and top of my legs, i had to see m midwife as it was a condition, i cant remember what its called but i know its common. i had to go to pyhsio where they gave me a belt to support me when walking. so get some advice, but, dont worry its not serious but it just meand you need more rest than others, good luck.

Take it easy and go see your doc just in case, but as everyone else has said, its normal.
If you are going to birthing classes they may well have some exercises that you can try. A Birthing Ball is great. And fun too!!!

it's because the bottom of your pubic bone is separating.
i had the same thing.
it is temporary and it will go away. just breathe thru it.
the pain is worth it to get a baby!
