Before you do another thing, you need to get a lot more familiar with the industry you're about to jump into. To begin with, are you a writer or not? (I don't understand why you would end a statement that should be factual with a question mark.) Sloppy things like that will end your career before it starts.
Secondly, you don't work with other people to "create ad copy." You write it. In an ad agency, a copywriter and art director are teamed together to develop concepts from which all the advertising and promotional materials are created.
Now, in order to get freelance writing jobs you're going to have to put together a portfolio of your work. If you don't have any produced work (and no one starting out does), then you'll have to put together a book of spec work. Everyone starting out does this because it's the only way of demonstrating your creative capabilities. To be quite frank, telling people you're "extremely creative" means exactly nothing. Likewise, "tenacity," "perserverance," and "ambition" are the price of entry, everyone possesses those traits. So you're not telling anyone anything interesting.
Finally, there are basically two ways you can go about all this. You can either try and figure it out on your own and through many years of trial and error, hit and miss you may actually start to develop a style people want, all the while being up against extremely talented people. Or, you can do yourself a favor and enroll in an advertising creative school such as Portfolio Center or The Creative Circus.
I wish you the best.

OK, you're all that, but are you experienced enough for serious graphic artists to want to work with you? Time to find a mentor, somebody in the business who can guide you along the way. If you are under 35 years old, try the local Junior Chamber of Commerce and get acquainted with others who are on the same track. Your arrogance is somewhat unattractive.
