As they are actually only a few miles apart it's a bit of an academic question really. You could easily stay in one and spend most of your time in the other, as the mood takes you. That way your teenagers could do their own thing, but not go too far away. Either place is lovely - much nicer than the stress of a foreign holiday.

Aren't teenagers past the stage of wanting to go on a family holiday?
I would think that a break away from parenting would be good for mum and dad too.
In answer to your question, probably Tenby.

Tenby has more to offer but Saundersfoot the better scenery. make sure you visit Broad-haven and Little-haven when you are in the area,. nice scenery and good to get out the boards.

I don't want to be impolite, but I would imagine teenagers would be bored out of their skulls in either of those places, making the holiday unpleasent for you. I would see whether, for the same money, you can get a holiday somewhere abroad, such as croatia, turkey, with sunshine, beaches, nice food, etc.
