james for information the average persons I,Q ranges from about 140-170 you moron steve hawkins has an I,Q of well over 219 people with learning difficultie even have in I,Q of around 110-140 the only reason i can see why you cant have heard of an I,Q that high is because your probably inbred. do you have to call your sister mom also or your cousin son or daughter? bet you do!!!! get a clue. oh and in your words "jog on fool" whatever that means

Actually a person with an IQ of about 70 is on the low end of still being able to function in society. My husband has an IQ of 167 and is considered a Genius.

What a load of rubbish! I don't know who you are arguing with, but average IQ is generally given to be around 100. 140 would be considered "gifted". People with learning difficulties can have high IQ scores, which just goes to show how poor an indication of overall intelligence IQ tests are in isolation and also how bad our education system is at present.
You have made a complete ar5e of yourself with this one, because iQ is regularly discussed here and even the most imbecelic of participants are going to know you've got it well wrong.
You appear to have some educational issues yourelf - I'll let you have some as typos, but "your" means belonging to you and "you're" means you are - and most people start new sentences with capital letters.

You are actually wrong about this, unless it is different in the UK, I don't know.
But the average person's IQ is around 100.
Some on the duller side can be in the 90's and some on the brighter side can be around 115, but that is average.
People with IQ's above 125 are very bright and those with IQ's above 160 are considered geniuses.

rubbish...........Mensa said i could join them if i went to Manchester and retook my test ,when they found out about my dyslexia my IQ when they said that was 148.....they would let me join at 150
