Although it is very rare yes. You can get cancer at any age. It is very unusual to get cancer as a child but it is not unheard of.

One teenage girl out of every 2152 girls develops breast cancer before age 20. So breast cancer in a 15 year old is not common. Usually breast lumps at this age are a sign of puberty and hormonal stimulation of breast tissues. Best bet is to have Mom take you to the doctor to check.

Anyone (including men / boys) can get breast cancer. My nephew had it at the age of 12...the cyst was removed and little radiation was needed. Good luck and I am sorry if this is something that you are going thru rather than just inquiring.

Here's a link to the excellent Mayo Clinic site on the subject.
Are you asking for your daughter or are you the 15 year old?
If its you, you'll find that when you're a teenager, its very easy to worry about things that are unlikely to happen. Often a symptom of a serious disease is much more likely to be a symptom of something unimportant. Talk to your doctor. Don't rely on rumor and tittle-tattle on the net for your medical advice.

I work in radiology, and have seen 17 year old breast cancer patients. Its possible...more common than we all thing. but not quite as common as in elder patients. If you have a question or concern about the issue, be seen by your doctor.
