if i'm getting your question correctly - want to go further - is it further away from each other (which i hope not) or move further ahead for a better improvements in life? but i'm going to answer to further improvements etc. it very much depends to which subject of improvements. example my husband is always looking and working out to further improve our business in order to make more money although not targeting to be that rich rich but at least it allows us to have early retirement while i'm a person that always move on self improving (every angle of life) cause that the only way we can treat ourselves and people around us better and stress free life. it takes more than one to build, improve and strengthen a relationship and if either one is determine to accomplish it we will have to be behind each other to make it successful and if we are positive it continues to rub on to others and in the relationship as well. like my husband and me both of us have got different strength and weakness and only such capacities. so we acknowledge the existence of it and work along each other to improve one another.
