First off...no one "tries" to commit suicide. You may feel with every ounce of your being that you would prefer to die rather than live. If you, subconsciously, truly wanted to die, you, my Dear, would not be here today to ask the question you just asked. As a matter of fact, out of all the suicides that occur daily around the U.S., only a minimal number of those ever even spoke aloud of their intentions, and for the same reason that I feel you asked the question you did. You are NOT like the person who succeeds in taking his/her own life. Absolutely nothing alike. Within your question of whether you should self admit or not, please look very closely at your words. Your pleading for someone to give you an affirmation as to your worthiness to survive through your struggles. Every one on this web-site could tell you the exact same things or the total opposites, but, you, Ma'am, already know the answer. For if you honestly didn't, Baby, you wouldn't have even thought about the consequences of losing your life. But, your strong! I feel this because you have the strength to bring your 'problems' into sight for the world to see. So, therefore, the world will also see your recovery from your illness, the mental stability that therapy & the correct meds, if necessary, will bring to you and the daily joy you will have one day to just to be able to open those eyes yet another day. My answer to you is...you know yourself best. I believe you already know what you HAVE to do to protect yourself, 'cause you wanna live. You've got fight, determination, & you will find the strength to carry yourself through whatever the future holds. Just, please, let's make sure you're here for your future. I'll keep you in my prayers. I admire you. I think you'll be an inspiration to others that have the same or similar problems. Thank you for speaking up. Now, go do what you gotta do to take care of yourself, K??

Yes! Even if you're not about to commit suicide, you should still go if you are suffering from an eating disorder. This is so very bad for your body. Not getting the proper nutrition can also cause havoc on your mental health. No wonder you're suffering from depression. Please, do yourself a favour and seek medical help for your disorder and seek a counsellor to help you through your depression and help you get back on track with your eating.

For eating disorder yes. If you want to commit suicide just think 500 years in the spirit world is no good. You may starve in the world but 500 years to do nothing is worse then Hell

I think you should get some help! It sounds like you're having a problem. I know that this might sound stupid, but I think I have a problem by myself, just because I THINK about doing self-harm, and are very close to try it.
But if you have tried to make suicide it is VERY serious!
You need to seek some help, for your own best!

You're confused not stupid. You've been confused for 6 years.....it's time to own your problems. Walk into a hospital and ask for help.... and this time listen so you can get on and stay on the right track.

Suicide FIXES nothing, it just BREAKS hearts.

You're not being stupid. You're trying to talk some sense into yourself. Go ahead and get yourself admitted, and best of luck with everything.

You know it's great that you actually think of admitting yourself, takes alot of courage. And yes I do think you should admit yourself, for your own good.
It will do you better and the doctors will help you. You need to stabilize your condition.
Good luck
