that is TOTALLY inappropriate.
He was testing you.
He will got further next time if you don't send him a clear NO message immediately.
Don't put up with that crap. That's sexual harassment!

I wouldn't think twice about anyone "brushing my shoulder" if they were helping me with something at work. However, it's "inappropriate" for anyone to "put his hand on your thigh" at work. There are plenty of ways to "support" someone without taking these liberties.

No, you're not being too sensitive!

is it worth bringing a sexual harassment suit against him? Id say that for one thing he was using you for support, if you didnt like it you shouldnt have been standing there, maybe he did cop a gratuitious feel, but come on now give him the benefit of the doubt. At least he didnt have you bending thru a hole and he was standing behind you supporting you.

I hate to be ugly but it sounds like sexual harassment in less that's the kind of stuff you want happening from your boss. It don't sound too good for someone to get a feel in when he can.

no you are not being sensitive, you have every right to feel sceptical, he is violating the rules you know what i am talking about-sexual harassment. he did it as a means to send a message to you that he likes you more than his employee and that isnt right, dont jump to conclusion, or doing anything, just act like that didnt happen-be yourself but if he keeps sending these 'signals' again its time you quit your job and get a new one.

Report him for sexual harrassment. I think that is kind of harsh but call your union rep or trade union org to get representation and report him improper office environment behaviour.
No you are not being sensitive.
Now i hope that this question wasn't about you have feeling for him.

He is the luckiest person on this earth. And i wish i take his position. And as far as the signal is concerned..........Baby Go ahead, Go for a change , he must be in a great mood and must be wanting to experiment u in all different ways. He is desperate to grab u.

Maybe you are overreacting.
How high did his hand reach he might be interested in you but is afraid to approach you and was trying to see your reaction

he if comes on like that... he just wants to get in your pants. he doesn't seem to want a real relationship, but he is attracted to you. you don't do that on your job, it's just wrong. if you like it ok, if you don't let it be known
