If humanity has progressed so much then why so much environmental, social, economic and religious disharmony?

First let us understand at what cost or price the humanity has actually progressed-It has progressed at the cost of the Nature-which is God manifested.We have grown and developed only with the help of Nature otherwise we would have not even survived.

The environment change is a man made-we are destroying forests,killing birds and animals and other vegetation with the result that we are asking the rain God to withdraw supply of water on this mother earth-which is directly affecting the natural growth of vegetation,beauty,pure air and all the seasons to appear in their full swings.The earth is becoming hotter day by day and the Nuclear and other tests are only adding death like environment for the whole world.THIS MUST BE CHECKED FORTHWITH AND NATURE SHOULD BE USED ONLY FOR OUR SURVIVAL AND NOT FOR SELFISH ENDS.

The social conditions have changed faster than expected.God has created only human beings and not rich and poor or big or small or any religion or any any other factor which has divided the human race on this earth.These are again all man made as per the convenience or the look of a better or a bigger one.WE SHALL HAVE TO EVOLVE A WAY TO BRING ALL SOCIETIES CLOSER TO ONE ANOTHER FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING,LOVE AND BROTHERHOOD TO SURVIVE OTHERWISE FIGHTING WITH ONE ANOTHER ON THE BASIS OF CAST,CREED OR COLOUR WILL ONLY LEAD ALL OF US TO GRAVE ONLY

The poor Nations remain poor for want of resources and other facilities.Well if more developed Nations who have better resources can help them without thinking of complete return and also help them improve infrastructure as friendly human beings,I personally feel LOT OF ECONOMIC BACKDROPS CAN BE IMPROVED AND TAKEN CARE OF TO BRING PEACE AND HARMONY IN THESE COUNTRIES LEST THEY PERISH

Last but not the least religious disharmony is the most serious and calling for an immediate solution for world peace and harmony.We can not let the peace and harmony be at the stake of a few mad headed people in the name of religion to take the whole peace to a ransomeWE HAVE TO IMMEDIATELY PUT AN END TO SUCH CANCER LIKE ELEMENTS FROM THE WORLD FOR MAINTAINING PEACE ANMD LASTING HARMONY.

LET US THEREFORE,ALL GET TOGETHER,PUT AND END TO ALL THE DIFFERENCE AND TAKE THIS WORLD AS ONE,ONE RELIGION,ONE SOCIETY AND ONE ECONOMIC STAND IF WE REALLY WANT TO LAST OTHERWISE FIGHTING WE SHALL ALL PERISH IN NO TIME--LET US THEREFORE,WAKE UP,BE UP AND DOING.

When humanity progresses to the point that there's an excess of leisure time, a certain amount of disharmony is bound to result.

In times of enormous stress, people will drop their differences and pull together to survive. If there's nothing really serious going on, the humans start to bicker and squabble over petty things.

The truth is that humanity has not progressed. There has been
huge progress and innovation in our knowledge of the sciences and scientific technology, nuclea physics, silicone chips.... etc.
We now have the means via nuclea weapons to wipe ourselves out!! But not the means to ensure it never happens.

There has been no comparable progress in the "humanities".
Our understanding of ourselves, our spiritual nature,ethics and morality, workable methods to help rehabilitate the individual and free ourselves of war, criminality,insanity,alcohol and drug dependancy, child abuse, spousal abuse, poverty...... this list goes on.

WE have not discovered the means to create a new, better civilization.
One without war and crime and insanity, were the able can prosper and man is free to rise to greater heights.

Humanity has "progressed" to a point were we can enslave ourselves with great efficiency, but do not know how to make ourselves free.

Technology has progressed, but i think the nature of humanity hasn't changed much. The rich get richer, the dog eats the dog, the powerful suppress the weak, the greedy get even greedier... it is still happening, just under different labels.

The mind has advanced, the heart has stagnated and the soul is being suffocated because there is no growth....

I think we are getting worse. There is one fact that Christians have in common with most other religions is that we all believe in an end to this world one of these days. Even atheist chalk in (but their time frame is when the sun will die out probably billions and billions of years from now) We are not getting better, we are getting worse, and this old earth cannot bear much more of our abuse.

Humanity has progressed.Well But no one seems to understand the
essentials & meaning of life.The man has not progressed enough.The root cause of this probelem is that losing out one's identity,One's Social identity ,One's religious identity in Name of Western Civilisation.

The expression goes something like, "Our technology has evolved faster than humanity has." We can make cool stuff, but our knowledge of living harmoniously and not judging each other, just isn't there yet.

That's because we humans are not progressing. Just the opposite. destroying our environment, killing fellow man, more diseases, our societies can not take much more. Another reason I don't believe in evolution.
