Is it just you that has no transport, or is it your whole family?
If it is just you, look at www.petfinder.com for a shelter near you and have a friend drive.
If it is the whole family, keep in mind you'll have to find a way to take the pup to the vet for vaccinations, checkups and potential health problems.
