I wouldn't practice magic if it didn't work. The more you work on it the better your results. I use magic for big and small objectives, and long- and short-term goals.

I have seen it work.
My friend 'R' had a really intense spiritual experience while he was in northern Quebec. So intense that he cut off his dreads and changed his name. I was walking around Toronto. The guy I was with says 'do you want to see somewhere cool--but i forget where it is'. Suddenly we started seeing all these clues that eventually lead us to this spot in an alley with a swing. There was a crack between two buildings and you could see the CN tower through it even though the tower was in the opposite direction. We found a piece of metal with writing on it nailed to a post. We had to use a bucnh of magic to get it off...ie...'R' who was in quebec was a huge pothead. Just as said out loud that it had something to do with 'R' a man walked by and offered us a joint. We finally got the piece of metal off the pole and on the back of it was written 'R''s new name--'Cimmarron'. The exact same day and time that he was having a life changing experience in another province. A few other people in Toronto had similar experiences.

I have. And no, I will not tell you what I have had work. Part of being able to do magick is being able to be silent about it.

Incidentally, witches and people into Voodoo are very different. You probably shouldn't lump us together. You may want to open your question up to all people who practice magick.

I'm not pagan, but magick works like prayer. The power of intention is quite amazing, especially on the weakminded. If you tell someone they will live a good life, they will be upbeat which will attract good things. The opposite has the same effect. Paganism and voodoo is as much about ritual as other religions. They honor Gods etc. Pagans follow their religion because it works them, makes sense to them.

It depends on what you believe Magick is. I dont do spells etc but I did when I was a kid, it was intriguing to me. Anyway I did a bring my true love to me spell once, a week later I got together with someone who had been a very good friend up until that point. Anyway long story short, years later here we are, married and expecting our first child.

I am not 'into' voodoo but I have seen it work. Same goes for Santeria. So I imagine witch's spells work too.

Do you think it would be fun to 'get into' it?

I have personally benefited from it. I practice Haitian vodou. I have been healed by the lwa. I have received things from them. I have seen magic worked and I have received benefits from it.

I've seen magick work as much as I've seen prayer work.

Interpret that as you see fit.
