You're asking the same questions everybody asks. You will get different answers. When Jesus resurrected from the dead he rose in the flesh for a reason. The stone was rolled away for a reason. The tomb wasn't robbed either, because it had the seal of the Caesar on it.Plus it was heavily guarded.
Archaeologists estimate the stone to about 2 1/2 tons to 3 tons in weight. It was that heavy for a reason.
If there was any DNA left behind, the years of weather did away with that.
Jesus was able to disappear and reappear out of nowhere. The significance of the whole thing is he rose in the flesh to be alive forever more.

#1 He went through the tomb in His resurrected body .
#2 The stone was moved by an Angel, not to let Jesus out ,but to let people in to see He was gone.
#3 Paul says we get a new body made by God,that when we are raised we are changed ,"In an instant,in the twinkling of an eye".
#4 Jesus is the only one who has ever been resurrected,to this point,as the "First fruits".
#5 Believers ,when they die go right to heaven in the spirit, awaiting the resurrection, where they will get those new bodies. That will happen at the Rapture of the church (Read 1 Thessalonians).Paul says "We who are alive will in no way precede those who have died. Then ,we who are alive and left, will be "Caught Up"(Raptured) to meet the Lord in the air"...........
#6 The grave was not robbed .There was a contingent of soldiers around to make sure. When the resurrection happened and the Angels showed up these guys dropped down faint (supernaturally) and when the Diciples showed up they themslves didn't believe it until Jesus manifested in the "Upper Room".He said (Luke 24) Touch me ,a ghost has not flesh and bone as you see I have".So,He was not a spirit, but a resurrected man who's new body can defy our physics.

Listen - His earthly body was taken up to Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father. His earthly body was resurrected. God raised Him from the dead - in His earthly body. If we receive God's forgiveness by trusting in Jesus as Lord and Savior - we also will have a resurrected body. That is the hope - an afterlife - a new body. I don't have all the answers for you - but Jesus does. I pray you find Him before it is too late.

The tomb was opened to prove He'd conquered death and not merely had His body removed by a loved one/disciple. His earthly body was changed from mortal to immortal, for the Scripture says that His "flesh would not see corruption", meaning that His flesh wouldn't be in the tomb long enough to decay. The bodies of ALL believers will undergo the same miraculous transformation when the time comes, even those who've DIED before!

Very good question. Why didn't Jesus just go through the stone? I think He was showing us something, that the grave was broken open, that no longer when we go to the grave do we stay there because He demolished death, the curse of death, the payment of sin. He didn't leave His earthly body, His body was a glorified body, He rose from the dead body and all. We leave our body to meet our maker (Christan's do anyway) but we will be re=united with a glorified body (like ours but then like Jesus') later on.

I think you are missing a few details of the Ressurection. Jesus' ressurection was physical: He walked out of the crypt under His own power. After proving Himself alive, over a period of about 40 days (eating, drinking, walking, talking, allowing himself to be touched, showing others the scars from His crucifixion, etc), He ascended bodily into heaven.
Apparantly the stone was rolled away by an angel, so other people could enter the crypt and see that Jesus wasn't there anymore. The crypt was guarded by some Roman soldiers, and sealed by the governor's orders. The soldiers fled in fear at the appearance of the angel.

Hi -
I believe that the stone was rolled away to show the power of the lord, it is a symbol that Jesus asecended into heaven. If the stone was not rolled away the women who went to weep at his tomb would not have know until much later that he had indeed risen.
I believe we leave our earthly body behind, and go up to meet our father in spirit, and we are cleansed of all sins

YOU WROTE: "Jesus hisself has suggested that He and the daddy are one..." what's "hisself"? besides... Jesus did say that, yet he also suggested "the daddy is larger than I" so i wager we've a project in which each and each and every actuality cancels out the different. Now, the project is this: the note "one" is used metaphorically. The greek note used denotes "union" and "brotherly love". same utilization of the note translated "one" is at John 11:52; John 17:11, 21-22; Romans 12:4-5.

It was moved as a physial sign that something had happened. IT was to show the women who came to the tomb that there was something amiss. Otherwise, they would have had to have had the Roman guards move the grave stone for them. God was being conciderate.
