first thing you do is brush up on your spelling, you want to impress this younger chick with your worldly knowledge and sophistication, or at least use the spell checker. Then, you enlarge your circle of friends to include others than those just in your age group. In the real world there is no difference between a couple years, its not like a senior and freshman ranking thing. Then, to prove that you are mature and confident, you go ask the little girl out, they will giggle and laugh, perhaps, but will still be impressed with your decisiveness and guts.

it's hard for people to take rumors seriously anymore. you should let her know. I'm not saying write her a letter on paper bc i realize that ppl see that as so outdated. so why don't you im her or send her an email asking her if she wants to go see a movie or something. or maybe you can see if she wants to go on a group date, that way it won't be as awkward for you if she doesn't like you the way you like her. talk to her friends. these days being shy doesn't pay off.

if i was you, i'd write her a little letter... nothing LONG... just sweet and simple... you could tell her in there... that way you wouldn't have a hard time telling her to her face... and you wouldn't have to say anything in front of your friends or hers... and you could keep it privite... just between the two of you... tell her not to read it till she's alone b/c it's got some personal info in it... and you could also leave your number in it so if she's interested she could give you a call and you two could take it from there... good luck !!!

Don't be afraid, just start off by saying Hi to her! Little by little initiate conversations regarding general things or mutual interests and let it take off from there.

Best way to go about it is to say hi to her and go from there. If she doesn't reply, she's obviously not interested but if she is, I'm sure you two will hit it off. Good luck!

Try asking her to meet you in private or writ a letter and put it in her bag at school or email her.
Maybe you'll find out then how she feels.

You politely ask her can you talk to her for a minute then you ask her will she go out with you sometime or could she call you sometime so y'all could talk. Just because your with your friends and she's with her friends it doesn't mean you can't say "Excuse me can i talk to you for a minute?" Good Luck!
