ok im not 18, but my work mate has a son who is 17. what can he do other than clubbing and drinking. (legal drinking age in SA is 18)and come on, when you were that age did you want to sit at home with the parents and play monopoly? get real. I still dont want to do it! so let be creative and constructive.

It is adviseable for him to play some sports and at night may be seeing some movies.

I'm sorry to NOT be creative and constuctive but i find it hard to belive there's a 17year old male out there that's not going to the pub.

I was a regular on friday nights at 15, went clubbing in a city centre at 15 even on over 21's nights, that was in Sheffield, UK and well over 20 years ago.

I'm now in the North East, UK and it's the same here today accept some of these youngsters now go on the town with their parents.

Maybe things over there are much more strict.

I use to go and spend time with my boyfriend after lessons on evenings and on Saturdays we would go in the mall.
