Chances are GREAT that she would need another c-section. They are actually common in that breed. I "worked" with a Bully breeder years ago, and many of her bit ches need c-sections. They have large heads and apparently not big pelvic openings.

It is likely that there will be further complications and your sister would be well advised not to breed from her again. I think that most experienced breeders would say the same. As there are so many dogs around and we breed them for money or because we love the experience, there is no justification for putting a female with a history of birthing problems through another pregnancy.
Remember that she may be passing this trait onto the pups in the litters and as complicated pregnancies in Bull Mastiffs are typical of the breed, it is really important to try and limit the occurance.
Hope all the lovely pups are well!

Bull breeds often have to have c sections as the head of the puppy can be too large for normal birth. Suggest she checks with a specialist, her vet, who can answer the question much better than people on here who do not know the dog at all.

it depends on why the dog had a c/section in the first place if it was a large puppy that got stuck there is no reason that she would have another one...but if it was enclampsia partial or full then it most probably would have to have another c/section ask why the dog had the c/section in the first place...also if it is a worry you could always go for a elected c/section ...

it will depend on whether there was a medical reason for the c section eg; narrow birth canal or if it was just because she or the pups were distressed or if one of the pups was stuck.
she should check with the vet as to how long she has to leave it before the dog can get pregnant again,
i know in humans you should have at least a year between pregnancys

They give dogs C-sections? Was there health problems involved with the birth of the puppies? Out of all the dogs I have known to give birth (Mutts on the street or well loved pets) I have never heard of a dog getting a C-Section.

She should talk to her vet as she will probably be at a higher risk for a c-section.
She may also be at risk for other life-threatening complications and may not be a good choice for breeding because of this.
