I've been offered a job in San Francisco that pays $65K per year. I was curious, making that per year, what would I be looking at on a monthly basis after all the taxes? Any links to websites would be great as well.

Thanks!

I'll be living outside of San Francisco, so rent won't be a problem.

You have not provided enough information to determine the answer accurately. How ever if you are single and your monthly salary is $5417 the approximate deductions for Medicare, Social Security and withholding would be $1436.18 plus state withholding of approximately $334.50 giving you a take home of $3646.32.

I have a friend who moved back to the SF area after being gone a year, and he lives well outside SF. It took him 13 months to find a place to live. It's 800 Sq Ft and he pays over 1300.00 a month. Do you already have a place to live? If not, you might want to go scouting around for a place to live before you actually move out there. Good Luck!

That's sounds like a lot of money but what will be left after you pay rent? That place is expensive.
