Patience.
Bedwetting is normal up to age 9 or 10.
Docs don't even begin to get concerned until age 5-6.
Pullups and a vinyl mattress protector.
Limit drinks for an hour or two prior to bedtime.
Make sure the child goes right before bed. (This was my middle child's problem.....she'd go into the bathroom and play but not use the toilet. I found I had to supervise her final bathroom visit so that it was productive and then she was fine.)
If the parents were bedwetters as kids, then the child is more likely to have a problem with it too.

Cut liquids 2 hours before bed time.

Wake the child up 2 or 3 times a night and make them go to the bathroom.

Purchase a night light and leave it on in the bathroom so the child can go alone without being afraid.

And most important dont scold because of bedwetting it only makes it worse and it gives the child low self esteem.

Tell the child its wrong but dont punish or embarrass

My daughter is 3, and anytime she wets the bed we go to the doctor. Sure enough, she will have a urinary tract infection. She never has any other signs- no fever, no pain during urination, no frequent urination, etc. The infection or irritation causes contractions of the bladder during sleep. A round of sulpha drugs always clears things up.
This has happened 5 times for us. We are batting 1000 at the doctor's office.
Next time, take your child to the doctor and ask to have a urine sample tested. Maybe that is the problem. Good luck.

Completely rule out fluids after dinner. Sips of water here and there are okay, but nothing else. Also, remind you child to try to go to the bathroom about every hour after dinner, try several times before bed time.

Worked like a charm for me.

Good luck.

All children potty train in their own time. Nighttime is usually the most problematic. You shouldn't make a big deal about it or you could hurt his self esteem. We used a pull-up at night until he was dry consistently. We also woke him up every 2-3hrs to take him to the potty. Eventually he was able to have more control & his self esteem stayed intact.

It might help to not give him liquids two hours before bed and make sure he uses the bathroom just before bed. However, it is a little early to expect 100% success no matter what you do. Just put him in pull-ups and relax about it and it will come in time.

some childrens have foodstuff sensitivities that intervene with bladder administration. With some babies, it is citric acid, yet i've got additionally examine that chocolate could have that effect on some. Assuming that he's potty experienced in the time of the day, you'll be able to desire to song what he eats and notice if the difficulty is extra problem-unfastened whilst he's had specific meals, like oranges.

don't give fluids after 7 pm if she goes to bed at 9! or put on some pull ups and tell her ...that you have to put them on cause you are not trying to be a big girl and wake mommy up at night to go the bathroom.

you should teach her that she can get out of bed and go the bathroom...did u do that?
