Seriously - you don't give us much to go on. If your doctor says "a viral infection" it probably means it might be something which falls more or less into the group of ailments which probably are caused by virus type pathogens - i.e. he doesn't know what the feck it is either!

Blisters anywhere is a common sign of a virus but they are not limited to any particular virus it is just an good sign that your illness is viral and not bacterial.

It could any of a thousands different viruses.

You need to go back to your doctor and ask him/her to be more clear about it and the advice given to you and what you can do to help you recover properly.

usually doctors say its viral cos they dont know what it is, they usually prescibe antibiotics and if that doesnt work they will do further tests
