A Sargeant told me that, " in six months we could come back," I was just wondering if that was true.

If you are discharged from service during boot camp there is usually one of two main reasons. Medical being one of them.
If you get sick and cant train, they normally do NOT discharge you for that but hold you back in training until you are better. If it is more of a permanent disability then you are discharged and you are not eligible for re-enlistment.
The other non-medical reason is that the soldier is a screw-up. Can't follow orders or is a troublemaker. and no you are not eligible for re-enlistment.

I take note that you say you were discharged without telling us WHY you were discharged. You KNOW why you were discharged but will not tell us. This has a big bearing on whether you can or cannot re-enlist at a later date. By not telling us the reason for your discharge, it leads me to suspect that you were discharged for disciplinary reasons.

most entry level discharges are coded to indicate whether the person may be enlisted at a later time. most are coded for no.

I believe you must wait 2 years to be re-eligible. Or, see a waiver.
