Can I train a demon as a guard dog?
"Sorcery is the art of capturing spirits and training them to work in harness, of sorting out the powers in our minds so we might manipulate them and make them cause changes both within our minds and beyond them."
Many people always look for the most vicious dogs to protect their house and to protect them, so, why can’t I train a vicious demon to protect me against negative energies and negative entities?

Our beliefs are what create spiritual entities, if your beliefs are negative and you purposely try to harm me, you will get attacked by my demons (defence not offence).
A demon gets created by negative thought patterns that are normally harmful to us or others. We normally create demons in our childhood, especially if our childhood was a broken experience. Learning the art of sorcery allows us to use these demons in positive ways instead of negative ways (well, you can use them in negative ways if you want to, that’s up to the individual, but hurting others is hurting yourself, since we all share the universal consciousness, the shared subconscious). I can lock my demons up and never look at them again, or I can train them, since, they are just a part of me like my soul. (you can train other demons that’s not your own, but I will first master my own before I master other’s)

(you can train other demons that’s not your own, but I will first master my own before I master other’s) If I let them run free they will cause harm to me and others, if I control them, they can become my friends and my protectors. The ‘guards’ of my mind, body and soul.

Okay, I'll throw in two cents. For protection I'd say no, but if You want to go to war then I'd say yes; in a big way. When You harness the Dragon it's an offensive weapon and it doesn't sit idle. Think it through if Your going to screw around with this stuff though, it really can get out of hand; in a literal way. All this stuff is from the negative, it will after a fashion induct You into the negative as well; that's how Folk end up lost. You become part of the negative energy and most People that fall into this can't get out, either from being addicted to the power or too weakened by the negative to see the light of good again. Dark stuff, cold too; even for the skilled it can be rough; so be very thoughtful about what You choose to do.

Is it possible? Maybe. I'd say that it's theoretically possible.
Is it practical? Doubtful. Vicious demons, like vicious dogs, are as likely to be a liability as a benefit. If you have the talent and ability to be able to enthrall a demon strong enough to be of any use...then you'll have the talent and ability to do something that is both more efficient and personally safer. I'd recommend some sort of construct instead, you'll have better control over it.

Paradox I think that in some ways all of us who are aware of our abilities have had to ask this question. I know I did at a very young age when I thought that with my abilites I could manipulate people to get what I want. I found I only manipulated myself. What your contemplating, or whether or not it's just posing a question for hypothetical entertainment, Im not sure. But I will say this. Thinking that you can train a demon is very dangerous. Because just by the act of training one, you may find that in your actions you will be as one. You must be careful when opening such doors. You may think you control it, but that is it's way of luring you into it's power, by appealing to mans ego. You must choose there is great power from the darkside, and in itself it gives you many earthly rewards. But if this is not what you seek, then I would suggest not trying it....l wish you well...
On a personal note the darkside called to me at the end of my bed one night like a demon dog. I was very frightened, and it told me it would give me everything. I said no this is not my way.
go away.. And it never did. It still is there waiting for me to choose it. But that is my way not yours.. You must choose

It makes sense if you are looking at this question in a humanistic way...but we all must remember ...we are not dealing with humans...and a demon will never have or be trained by a human it has its own master (The Devil)...so unless you are the devil ---ohhhhh and that's just another question on its own..lol...then it would be impossible...but i know another that is stronger and wiser then he...The Lord my Father...He saves & Protects because even though the devil is slick like a snake my father in heaven is a lion quick to attack so if you want a protecter...he is there..no training involved, no reading directions on the back...lol..he just does his thinggy when you proclaim his name...trust me Ive tryed it...It works!I dare you to try just a taste of his faithfulness!!..God Bless...Great Question!

Because demons aren't like what they are shown as in shows like Supernatural. They can't be domesticated to follow whatever you tell it to. A demon IS a negative energy, so I don't know how it can protect you when it itself can hurt you.

I wouldn't advise doing this. The demon itself would be a negative energy that you invited inside your sphere. You can keep negative energy out of your personal area by cranking up your own positive energies.

Sure you can. You can do anything you want to do. You can probably find instructions on the internet. (Hey, you can find ANYTHING on the internet.)
I'll maintain my strick neutrality on the "positive" vs. "negative" or "good" vs. "bad" debate. I just contend that people are incapable of appreciating the stuff they don't like.
